COVID-19 Update: As our Association’s response to COVID-19 continues to evolve, our in-person events will include measures to promote safety and prevent the spread of the coronavirus, and any variant. If you choose to participate in our events in person, the event environment will promote social distancing and event protocols guided by the CDC, along with any other safety measures that LCA and the event location deem necessary. LCA’s Future Technology & Liability Issues within the Legal Profession will operate in conjunction with the State of Florida requirements for all “professional” events.
CANCELLATION POLICY: 100% refund if cancellation is received by LCA at least 90 days prior to the scheduled date of event, less a service charge of $100.00. 50% refund is cancellation is received by LCA at least 30 days prior to the scheduled date of event, less a service charge of $50.00. NO REFUND if cancellation is received less than 30 days prior to the scheduled event. Registration fees for our event may be transferrable, with prior authorization from LCA, or may credited toward one of our future events without refund, with LCA permission.
CLE ACCREDITATION: Individual Attorneys are responsible for checking with their particular state CLE accreditation authority about whether and how much credit will be granted. Although LCA does not pursue state-based credit, all LCA Speakers are regularly approved in many jurisdictions. It is the responsibility of the individual attorney to submit the information and certifications required under the respective state rule to the appropriate authorities in the jurisdictions in which they seek credit.
